Novels by Patricia Park

As an educator, I write humorous and heartfelt novels with classroom teaching in mind—they entertain while sparking student discussions on larger themes of identity, culture, belonging, class, and social justice. My adult literary and YA novels have been taught in over 100 universities, high schools, and middle schools across the country. The novels are called the “Queens Multiverse” because the characters and worlds are linked, and they all share the literary landscape of Queens, NY—or what F. Scott Fitzgerald oh so mistakenly calls, “the valley of ashes.”
